Singapore Tightens Road Laws: Phone Holding Ban and Harsher Penalties for Dangerous Driving
Singapore is introducing tougher road traffic laws including penalties for merely holding a phone while driving and up to 15 years jail for purposeful vehicle endangerment, responding to a 24% rise in fatalities since 2021.
