Meralco ordered to refund ₱9.5 billion to consumers as ERC corrects power rates
The Philippine Energy Regulatory Commission has directed Meralco to refund ₱9.5 billion to consumers, equivalent to ₱0.3449 per kilowatt-hour, beginning in the next billing cycle. The refund addresses overcharges during the 2025 lapsed period.
