Malaysia's Health Ministry to Deploy 560 Permanent Doctors to Sabah by October
Malaysia's Ministry of Health will appoint 560 permanent medical officers to Sabah beginning October, addressing a chronic doctor shortage. However, historical reporting rates of around 50% mean only an estimated 280 doctors may actually take up positions.
