Laos PM Demands Tighter Controls at Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone
Laos Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone has demanded stricter oversight of the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone, citing only 60% contract fulfilment despite US$10 billion in investments since 2007. The zone straddles the Laos-Myanmar-Thailand border.
