Cabinet Set to Review Proposal to Scrap Universities and University Colleges Act
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced that the government's plan to abolish the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971 will be presented to Cabinet this Wednesday, moving the contentious education reform closer to implementation.
