Thailand to Seek Cabinet Approval for Bangkok–Phitsanulok High-Speed Rail in 2027
Thailand's Ministry of Transport will pursue cabinet approval this year for the Bangkok–Phitsanulok high-speed rail project, the first phase of a larger Bangkok–Chiang Mai initiative developed with Japan, with construction set to begin in 2030.
