Malaysia Removes 12,353 Deepfake Posts in First Half of 2024
Malaysia's communications regulator has successfully removed over 12,000 deepfake posts in the first six months of 2024, achieving a 94 per cent success rate in content takedowns as new rules requiring AI-generated content labelling come into force.
