Court Rules Handing Newborn to Intermediary Can Constitute Abandonment
Malaysia's Court of Appeal has widened the legal definition of child abandonment, ruling that handing a newborn to a third party—even deliberately—can constitute abandonment rather than requiring the child to be left in a public place.
