Bangladesh President Shahabuddin Resigns Citing Health Grounds
Bangladesh President Mohammed Shahabuddin has resigned on health grounds, stepping down nearly two and a half years before his term was scheduled to end in 2028. Parliament Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmed will assume the interim presidency.
