Japan Executes Pachinko Arson Killer Under New PM Takaichi
Japan has executed Sunao Takami, 58, for a 2009 arson attack on an Osaka pachinko parlour that killed five people and injured ten. It marks the first execution under newly appointed Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.
